Brewery Production Assistant

Silvaticus is a community focused taproom and brewery located in downtown Amesbury, MA. Our highly regarded lagers and ales are all crafted and served on site by a small team of individuals in a unique environment that requires dedication, coordination, and collaboration from everyone involved. We are seeking an entry-level Production Assistant to support facility operations along with cellar, packaging, and production day tasks

This position is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in all aspects of a brewery setting. The Production Assistant will focus heavily on cleanliness, organization, and packaging support, helping ensure our production and taproom spaces run smoothly. No prior brewery experience is required—training will be provided.

**Key Responsibilities***

Clean and maintain the brewhouse, cellar, production areas, and equipment

Support general taproom cleaning and facility upkeep

Maintain sanitation standards and follow all safety procedures

Assist with packaging operations, including kegging and canning

Support cellar operations, including beer transfers and general production tasks

Keep work areas organized, safe, and efficient

Assist with other production and facility-related tasks as assigned

**Qualifications***

Entry-level position; no prior brewery experience required

Strong attention to cleanliness and organization

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly and perform physical labor

Comfortable working in cold, wet, and fast-paced environments

Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented

Willingness to learn and follow established procedures

Availability Monday- Friday (2-3 Saturdays throughout the year on special events)

Reliable Transportation

**Preferred (but not required)***

Experience in food & beverage, manufacturing, or custodial/warehouse work

Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safety procedures
