Crimson aquatics is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Coach to join our team at Dexter Southfield School . The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment for the students. As part of our curriculum, the Swim Coach will provide swim lessons during the school day, helping students develop their skills, confidence, and love for the water.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive swim curriculum that aligns with the school’s educational goals.
• Conduct swim lessons for students of various skill levels, ensuring safety and skill progression.
• Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages students to participate and improve.
• Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to promote growth and development.
• Collaborate with other coaches and faculty to integrate swimming into the overall athletic program.
• Maintain a safe and clean swimming environment, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding swim program details and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Prior coaching experience, preferably in a school setting or with youth swim programs.
• Strong knowledge of competitive swimming techniques and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire students of varying skill levels.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate swim lesson times.
