The ideal candidate has specialty retail experience and is a creative spirit who is ready to support our Boutique Team Leader (Store Manager) in creating an engaging environment for our guests and team members. Assistant Team Leader responsibilities include:**Guest Experience*** Leading and supporting a selling culture focused on building a confident and engaged team that is motivated to provide unwavering dedication to our guests.**Leadership*** Driving sales results by analyzing the business and identifying opportunities to improve metrics through sales floor leadership and continuous coaching on and off the sales floor.* Planning, delegating, and following up on expected tasks, assignments, and activities while maintaining our guest as our top priority.**Talent*** Assisting the Boutique Team Leader in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, developing, and retaining a high-performing and diverse team.* Assisting in building bench strength for the boutique by preparing team members for the next level of responsibility.* Establishing open, candid, and trusting professional relationships with your team.**Operations & Visual*** Supporting and enforcing company policies and procedures fairly and consistently.* Maintaining a visually inspiring boutique that is compelling to the guest by utilizing, leading, and delivering our visual brand standards.* Problem solving; proactively, creatively, and often independently, driving new ideas and creating solutions to problems.**What You'll Get*** A flexible schedule* Growth and advancement opportunities* A generous team member discount* Monthly Incentive Program* Opportunity to participate in our 401(K) Plan* Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance available for FT positions* Paid Parental Leave* Starting hourly rate for this position is $18.50**Position Requirements*** Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a specialty retail store* Ability to motivate others and work together to deliver sales results* Able to plan and execute tasks efficiently and independently* Flexible and adaptable* Ability to multi-task and balance multiple priorities* Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the boutique including nights, weekends, and holidays**Physical Requirements*** Ability to effectively maneuver around sales floor and stockroom, repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting and climbing* Must be able to work independently* Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbsWe consistently seek candidates for current and future consideration.
