Great Barrington, MA
Embark on a transformative journey as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Great Barrington, Massachusetts, where your expertise will illuminate patient care across diverse clinical settings while you help communities breathe easier and recover with confidence. This opportunity invites you to leverage advanced respiratory skills to support patients through critical moments, guide families with clarity, and collaborate with a team that values precision, empathy, and continuous learning. As you step into this role, imagine the impact you can make—improving airway management, optimizing ventilator strategies, and contributing to multidisciplinary rounds that place patient comfort and outcomes at the forefront. Separately, you can also explore the beautiful places of Massachusetts, from the rolling hills of the Berkshires to coastal escapes and vibrant cultural hubs, a state that blends outdoor adventure with rich history and modern innovation.

Location benefits extend beyond the clinic floor. Great Barrington offers a charming small-town atmosphere enriched by the natural beauty of the Berkshires, where hiking trails, scenic drives, fall foliage, and seasonal events create a welcoming backdrop for professional and personal growth. You’ll have access to a thriving arts scene, regional farmers markets, farmers-to-hospital-to-community initiatives, and a pace that allows for meaningful work with time to recharge. The state of Massachusetts itself provides a wealth of opportunities for educational advancement, networking with leading healthcare professionals, and experiences unique to New England—from historic towns to world-class museums, culinary delights, and outdoor recreation in every season. Additionally, this opportunity includes the flexibility of working across multiple U.S. locations, granting you exposure to varied patient populations, hospital cultures, and clinical protocols that sharpen your expertise and broaden your career horizon.

As a Respiratory Therapist in this role, you’ll perform essential responsibilities with precision and compassionate care. You’ll conduct comprehensive patient assessments, monitor and optimize respiratory therapy modalities, manage ventilator supports, administer aerosolized medications, perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases, and participate in weaning plans and pulmonary hygiene initiatives. You’ll collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals to develop individualized care plans, educate patients and families about respiratory therapies, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. This position offers meaningful professional growth within the respiratory specialty through exposure to complex cases, mentorship from seasoned clinicians, and opportunities to expand your scope through continuing education. You’ll benefit from a robust support structure designed to empower your development, including a clear pathway for skill advancement and access to a network of resources that reinforce best practices and patient safety. In this role, you’ll also encounter flexible scheduling with the potential for extension, allowing you to deepen your expertise in high-acuity environments and community hospitals alike.

Competitive compensation and benefit highlights include weekly pay in the range of $2,009-$2,176, with the potential for a variety of bonuses and stipends designed to recognize your expertise and dedication. Housing assistance is available to ease the transition to new assignments, and extension opportunities enable you to continue contributing your talents to teams you trust. The program emphasizes comprehensive support for traveling clinicians, with 24/7 assistance from our dedicated team to address any needs that arise on assignment, from credentialing and onboarding to on-site acclimation and clinical questions. You’ll join a culture that prioritizes work-life balance, safety, and professional autonomy, ensuring you can deliver exceptional patient care while maintaining your well-being during travel experiences. The schedule is designed to preserve clinical impact while allowing you to explore new communities and broaden your professional network.

Company values center on empowering staff to reach their highest potential within a supportive, collaborative environment. We’re committed to fostering career advancement through targeted clinical experiences, constructive feedback, mentorship, and access to ongoing education. You’ll work alongside colleagues who share a patient-first mindset, a dedication to innovation, and a belief that supportive leadership elevates outcomes for patients and professionals alike. The organization emphasizes inclusion, integrity, and accountability, recognizing that empowered clinicians translate into safer care, stronger teams, and healthier communities. By joining us, you become part of a community that rewards initiative, embraces learning, and champions your professional journey at every step.
