Medical Assistant - Pediatrics

- Perform all vital signs, necessary screenings, measurements, and point of care testing and record results accurately on the appropriate medical record template.
- Display fantastic interpersonal communication skills with a team player approach while paying attention to detail.
- Respect and maintain patient confidentiality in all aspects of care including use of electronic information.
- Assist provider during and after the exam, including chaperoning, assisting with procedures, interpreting, labeling and sending specimens to lab, and clearing away instruments etc.
- Utilize those skills to interact with patients/clients, team members and staff from other departments.
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant Training Program with a successfully completed externship experience. Medical Assistant certification, preferred.
- Bi-lingual in Spanish /Khmer/Russian with knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
- CPR or ASL certified
- Utilize those skills to interact with patients/clients, team members and staff from other departments in a collaborative setting
- A desire to work as a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team.
