CNC Lathe Machinist (11532) (Haverhill)
Job Description:

As part of our continued growth, we are seeking experienced, detail-oriented professionals to join our high-performing team in the Lawrence/Methuen area.
Military experience equivalency may substitute for some requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines based on technical drawings, blueprints, and detailed work instructions.
- Select and install appropriate tooling, chucks, and fixtures to ensure machining efficiency and high-quality results.
- Make real-time program and machine adjustments to maintain tight tolerances and performance standards.
- Conduct thorough in-process and final inspections using micrometers, calipers, and other precision instruments.
- Troubleshoot issues related to machining and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain accurate production and quality documentation in accordance with ISO standards.
- Promote a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety procedures.
- Contribute to production goals in a high-mix, low-volume setting requiring versatility and focus.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience setting up and running CNC lathes.
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings, including GD&T.
- Solid understanding of machining practices, tooling, and materials (particularly plastics and aluminum).
- High attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of CNC lathe experience.
- Familiarity with G-code and/or conversational programming.
- Formal CNC certification or completion of a machining vocational program.
