The Role

Veeva is looking for an experienced Product Manager to build, launch, and grow capabilities for our Clinical Database (CDB) application for Clinical Trials.

We’re looking for a passionate self-starter that takes initiative with a natural ability to execute, adapt, and learn quickly when faced with ambiguity. You will work closely with a team of industry and technology A-players, who together are bringing the next generation of Veeva products to market.

What You’ll Do

  • Own and design product features from start to finish, including user stories, functional & non-functional requirements, feature specifications, quality control checks
  • Interview Customers and Industry Experts to understand the business needs and pursue problems with curiosity and tenacity.
  • Manage the prioritization of features within your product area
  • Author high-quality design specifications within an agile methodology based upon industry and downstream systems/customer requirements
  • Support release and sprint planning to ensure product enhancements support the needs of internal and external customers at the right time and in the right sequence
  • Collaborate closely with Development, QA, DevOps, and Product Management to ensure products are built and delivered with quality
  • Acquire deep subject matter expertise in Clinical Trial Data

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Product Management or relevant work experience
  • Passion for understanding complex business challenges and translating them into elegant solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and comfortable with ambiguity
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to work in the USA
  • Experience with data modeling
  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence
  • Demonstrated expertise in design, product development, and strategic planning

Nice to Have

  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or engineering
  • Experience in the clinical trials industry

Compensation

  • Base pay: $120,000 - $200,000
  • The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
