Job Summary
We are seeking an analytical and detail-driven Inventory Control Analyst to support inventory accuracy and manufacturing reporting across our operations. This role is systems- and data-focused, playing a key role in Manufacturing Order (MO) reporting, ERP transactions, inventory auditing, and root-cause analysis.
This position is not a physical inventory counting role. Instead, it focuses on analyzing inventory movement, ensuring data integrity, and partnering cross-functionally to support production, planning, purchasing, and quality initiatives.
What You’ll Do
• Perform daily Manufacturing Order (MO) reporting, ensuring accurate material usage and production reporting within the ERP system
• Process inventory transactions including receipts, transfers, adjustments, and donations
• Analyze inventory discrepancies, investigate root causes, and support corrective actions
• Prepare and maintain inventory and manufacturing reports using ERP data and advanced Excel (formulas, pivots)
• Support inventory cycle count setup and analysis (physical counts performed by the warehouse team)
• Conduct inbound quality verification audits, reviewing documentation, quantities, lots, and expiration dates
• Maintain accurate audit trails and supporting documentation for all inventory transactions
• Partner cross-functionally with Warehouse, Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Quality teams
• Participate in daily operational discussions and roundtable meetings
• Cross-train and support other supply chain functions as needed
What You’ll Need
• 5+ years of experience in inventory control, manufacturing reporting, or ERP-driven environments
• Strong understanding of manufacturing and inventory flows (raw materials vs. finished goods)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, data analysis)
• Experience working within an ERP system (Great Plains preferred)
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause investigation skills
• High attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy
• Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize, adapt, and think critically in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
