Springfield College invites applications for part-time adjunct faculty positions in the Biology/Chemistry Department for the fall 2025 semester. Ideal candidates would teach up to 9 contact hours in the following courses:
- Microbiology (BIOL 315, 3 cr, MWF 11:00 - 11:50 AM) and the co-requisite labs
- Microbiology laboratory (BIOL 317, 1 cr, M 1:30 - 3:20 PM)
- Microbiology laboratory (BIOL 317, 1 cr, F 1:30 - 3:20 PM)
Preference is given to candidates who are excellent and innovative teachers and have a demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEM education.
Qualifications Candidates must possess at minimum a Master's Degree in Biology or related field from a regionally accredited institution. Experience teaching at the college level is preferred. Graduate students who have completed two years of a scientific PhD program will also be considered. Applicants should submit a letter of interest that indicates your interest and relevant expertise/experience with the course, a curriculum vitae, and the names and contact information of three professional references.
