Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Physical Therapist opportunity is available at a K-12 educational setting in Lynn, MA for the uping school year. This contract position provides the chance to support students' physical development and mobility needs in a dynamic school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individualized treatment plans for students with physical impairments or disabilities
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school professionals to support student progress
- Provide direct therapy services including exercises, mobility training, and the use of adaptive equipment
- Document progress and adjust interventions as needed to meet educational goals
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to individualized education program (IEP) planning
Desired Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist with state licensure appropriate for school-based practice
- Experience working in K-12 school settings is preferred
- Strong munication and teamwork skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student needs
- Understanding of educational laws and regulations related to special education services
