Phoenix3 Collective is seeking a dynamic Retail Concepts Brand Manager to help shape the future of culinary-driven retail experiences. This role sits at the intersection of brand strategy, program innovation, and hospitality excellence — leading the development of compelling retail concepts that inspire guests, strengthen brand equity, and fuel long-term growth.

You’ll champion consumer-centric, differentiated dining solutions while collaborating across our portfolio of leading boutique hospitality brands. Reporting to the VP of Brand Strategy, you will influence how our brands show up in the marketplace and deliver experiences that excite, delight, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive brand concept strategies and marketing plans tailored to the retail landscape, defining brand positioning, mission, and value propositions to differentiate the company and our clients in the market.
  2. Analyze consumer insights, market performance, and competitive dynamics to guide strategic decision-making. Lead the commercialization and branding efforts for new retail and branded concept launches, ensuring alignment with brand identity and market needs.
  3. Drive the commercialization of new programs, ensuring concept relevance, operational viability, and guest excitement
  4. Serve as the brand liaison, working closely with internal teams (sales, operations, marketing, and Technology) and external partners (agencies and clients) to ensure consistent messaging and successful, on-time execution of initiatives.

Qualifications

  1. 5-7+ years of experience in retail, brand management, hospitality, foodservice, or a dining environment is strongly preferred.
  2. A bachelor’s degree in marketing, retail management, or a related field is preferred. (MBA is a plus).
  3. Proven ability to translate insights into actionable brand concept growth strategies
  4. Strong concept development and storytelling capabilities.
  5. A creative mind with the ability to produce innovative ideas that capture audience attention and differentiate the brands.
  6. Strong organization, prioritization, and project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  7. Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  8. Foundational knowledge of design tools is a plus (e.g., InDesign, Photoshop) for light design projects.
  9. Self-starter with a collaborative spirit and comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment.
  10. Collaborative mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
  11. A portfolio of brand/retail concept work is encouraged.
  12. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and AI tools preferred.

Location & Work Environment

  1. This is primarily an in-office role, operating out of the Waltham, MA office.
