Vehicle Tint, PPF & Wrap Installer
We are looking for a skilled and detail oriented Vehicle Tint, PPF and Wrap Installer to join our automotive customization team. The ideal candidate will have experience applying window tint, PPF and vinyl wraps with precision and care. This position requires excellent craftsmanship, an eye for aesthetics and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Window Tint Installation:
- precisely cut and apply window tint to vehicles using hand tools and heat guns
- ensure all tint installations are free from bubbles, creases and imperfections
- follow all local laws and regulations regarding tint limits
Paint Protection Film:
- install clear PPF on high impact areas (hoods, bumpers, mirrors) and full body applications
- perform surface prep including cleaning, clay barring and decontamination
- use squeegees, slip solutions and precision cut templates for flawless applications
Vehicle Wrap Installation:
- apply full or partial vinyl wraps to cars, trucks and commercial vehicles
- align and apply graphics accurately, avoiding bubbles and misalignments
- trim edges, tuck seams and post-heat surfaces to manufacturer specs
- assist with wrap removal and reapplications when needed
General Duties:
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools
- inspect finished work for quality assurance before customer delivery
- keep up with current industry trents and new material technologies
- assist with occasional customer consultations and estimates
Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years experience in tint, PPF or wrap installation (certifications are a plus!)
- familiarity with tools such as pltters, heat guns, squeegees, and cutting blades
- strong attention to detail, hand eye coordinateion and visual accuracy
- ability to work on your feet, bend and lift up to 50 lbs
- valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- professional, punctual and team oriented attitude
Preferred skills:
- experience with ceramic coating applications
- graphic design or larve format printing knowledge
- XPEL, 3M, Avery Dennison or Hexus installation certifications
Compensation:
- Hourly $30/hour
