IT Support Specialist II – Great Pay & Growth Opportunity
Contract / Temporary Opportunity
Pay Rate: $32–35/hr.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist II to join a growing IT team supporting internal users across hardware, software, and network environments. This is a hands-on, mid-level IT support role ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting technical issues, supporting end users, and contributing to IT projects and process improvements.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, printers, software, and specialized applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and group memberships within Active Directory
- Support Office 365 administration and user access requests
- Assist with IT documentation, reporting, and process improvements
- Help generate and review IT metrics and dashboards
- Provide support and guidance to Level 1 technicians
- Participate in IT deployments, upgrades, and rollout projects
- Perform additional IT support duties as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years of IT support or desktop technician experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and networking
- Experience with Windows operating systems and Office 365
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, including group management and basic GPO understanding
- Ability to work independently and manage moderately complex technical issues
- Comfortable lifting and moving equipment up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with servers, databases, or network equipment
- Familiarity with imaging tools, ticketing systems, and remote support platforms
