Job Description

Join our team as a packer, where you will work on the production line to remove products, count them according to order sheets, and pack them into boxes for shipment. This role requires reporting to a supervisor each shift and being assigned to a specific production line. You will receive cross-training on different lines and may be tasked with applying labels, stacking and packing boxes, and managing scrap parts. Completing work orders based on the day's run is also a part of this role.

Responsibilities

• Work on the production line to take off products, count them per order sheet, and pack them into boxes.
• Report to the supervisor at the start of each shift.
• Be assigned and work on a specific production line for the day.
• Receive cross-training on various production lines.
• Apply labels, stack and pack boxes, and handle scrap parts as needed.
• Complete work orders based on the day's production run.

Essential Skills

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, though most products are lighter.
• Proficiency in English to read and follow instructions.
• Ability to count and manage inventory.
• Experience with injection molding, injection mold, and injection molding machines.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in an industrial environment is a plus.
• Experience with extrusion or injection molding is advantageous.

Work Environment

Work in a cleanroom environment where safety glasses are provided and must be worn at all times. The facility is temperature-controlled, ensuring comfort during shifts. Employees receive paid breaks, including one 15-minute and one 30-minute break. We offer three shifts: 1st shift from 7 am to 3 pm, 2nd shift from 3 pm to 11 pm, and 3rd shift from 11 pm to 7 am.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Leominster, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
