Senior Associate, Merchandising Supplier Success
This position is a hybrid in-office role that works out of our Boston HQ (Monday-Thursday will be working in office and Friday is work from home). This is not a virtual / remote position.

Merch Supplier Success, Senior Associate (L2) - NA

The Merchandising Operations group at Wayfair is looking for a Senior Associate to become part of our Merch Supplier Success team. In this role, you will be expected to root cause and obtain an understanding of the complexities of the merchandising process and leverage that expertise to address supplier concerns.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate on the Merch Supplier Success Team, you’ll be on the front lines resolving supplier issues, ensuring catalog quality, and driving improvements in Enrichment, Media, PA, and other Merchandising teams.
In this fast-paced role, you will be responsible for tackling high-impact problems, providing timely and accurate support to suppliers and cross-functional partners, and gathering insights to develop long-term solutions. This position is perfect for a problem-solver who excels in dynamic environments.
What You’ll Do
Drive process improvement by tracking pain points and trends to inform systemic fixes.
Own and deliver projects end-to-end taking on ideas at problem statement level with responsibility for discovery, structuring & scoping problems through to delivering the final end product, process, tool or solution.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product, engineering, and supplier-facing teams on projects to drive completion and ensure a cohesive supplier (and customer) experience across all touch points
Develop team KPIs and create reports and dashboards through identifying trends and proactively offering solutions to course correct
Cultivate effective relationships within Wayfair operational leadership and senior business partners across the organization.
Contribute to a highly motivational working environment in which you help your team proactively challenge current status quo and contribute to team goals
What You’ll Need
1–3 years of experience in merchandising operations, supplier management, account management, or similar experience.
Communication skills to work effectively with both suppliers and global stakeholders.
Problem-solving mindset with ability to escalate appropriately and propose solutions.
Comfort using data and tools to analyze issues and identify patterns. Experience with SQL, GBQ, Data Studio or Excel is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to work with both technical and business-oriented stakeholders. Ability to translate analytical work into business cases meant to inform and persuade
A proven track record of taking on challenging tasks and delivering despite obstacles or limited resources
Demonstrated ability to communicate with a broad cross-functional audience and influence and persuade members at all levels
