Regional Account Manager (industrial sales)

Northeast Territory: CT, DE, KY, MA, MD, ME, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VA, VT and WV

An established manufacturer of high-quality architectural and industrial components seeks a career-minded Regional Account Manager with an entrepreneurial spirit . This is a direct hire position offering stability and growth.

• Location: Addison, IL or Remote
• $ 75K per year base or depending on experience
• Additional commission and bonus incentives
• Excellent benefits package including 100% coverage for medical, dental, vision

Requirements of the Regional Account Manager:

• Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3 years of professional sales experience
• Preferred experience working with industrial OEMs and equipment fabricators, distributors, engineers, or designers
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong relationship building and negotiation skills
• Working proficiency in MS Office Suites and CRM or other enterprise data systems
• Team-oriented with strong troubleshooting and organizational skills
• Must be willing to travel up to 50%

Responsibilities of the Regional Account Manager:

• Work with executive management to develop sales objectives and market penetration strategies
• Establish new business relationships and continue to grow existing customer accounts
• Attend tradeshows, channel partner exhibits, seminars, and trade association events
• Prospect and secure projects with engineers, designers, industrial equipment fabricators, distributors, and OEMs
• Continuous research of industry and competitive environment
• Internal reporting and presentation: market analysis, sales figures, and project updates
• Product and sales training for distributors’ sales representatives
• Other related duties as assigned

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Schedule: Monday – Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
