Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in the life of a middle school student by serving as a 1:1 Paraprofessional in a supportive and engaging school environment. This contract opportunity offers full-time hours through the 2025–2026 school year. As the dedicated paraprofessional, you'll provide crucial academic and personal care support for a student within the LINKS program at a middle school near Springfield, MA.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or GED (required)
• Prior experience as a paraprofessional within a school setting
• Comfortable assisting students with personal care needs (toileting, dressing, diaper changing, wiping assistance)
• Must meet ONE of the following:
  • Associate’s degree, or
  • Minimum of 48 college credits, or
  • Passing score on the ParaPro or WorkKeys assessment

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized, 1:1 support throughout the school day
• Provide safe, dignified assistance with personal care and hygiene tasks
• Help foster student engagement and participation in classroom activities
• Support behavioral and academic goals under the guidance of school staff
• Maintain a positive, respectful relationship with the student, classroom staff, and families
