- Provide nursing care to participants and carry out physician orders
- Assess medical needs, safety risks, and overall well-being
- Develop and update care plans in compliance with MassHealth and DPH regulations
- Supervise and support nursing staff in daily care activities
- Help maintain a safe, structured, and engaging environment for participants
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, patient safety, and care standards
- Active, unencumbered RN license in Massachusetts
- CPR & First Aid certification
- At least 1 year of nursing experience (geriatric or related setting preferred)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a care team
- Comfort using EHR systems and basic computer application
- Physical ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, and squat for extended periods.
- Capable of frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects up to 20 pounds unassisted, and up to 50 pounds or more with assistance as needed.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with residents, families, visitors, government personnel, the public, and colleagues.
- Proficient in reading, writing, and following instructions in English.
