UNIT MANAGER - LPN/RN - Sign On Bonus! $6000 Annually.
Paid out in twelve installments starting with the first month of employment for a total of 12 monthly payments.
Blaire House of Milford is a 73-bed skilled nursing center. We have been family owned and operated, servicing the health care needs of seniors for nearly 50 years. Blaire House of Milford is a Five Star Quality Rated Nursing Facility. We specialize in Short Term Care, Long Term Care, Rehabilitation, Sub-acute Care, and Alzheimer's Specialty Care. Our facility also hosts an Adult Day Health Center, Senior Transportation and Home Care Services.

Assumes responsibility for all nursing care provided to residents within an assigned unit; knows the residents’ conditions at all times; observes and supervises nursing care according to physician’s orders and in conformance with recognized nursing techniques and procedures, established standards and administrative policies.
Investigates and studies trends and developments in nursing practices and techniques and evaluates their adaptability to the needs of specific nursing programs.
Assists in teaching ancillary nursing personnel; orients and trains new employees as directed by the Director of Nursing. Assists with evaluation of designated personnel.
Coordinates the nursing process by assessing all new residents and all residents routinely, completing MDS and resident care plan, implementing and evaluating the resident care plan and daily re-evaluating of the resident care plan.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION: Licensed Nurse who has graduated from an accredited school of nursing. Current registration with the State Board of Nurse Examiners. Ability to speak, read and write English.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Will receive in-service training in special areas. IV certification will be required.
