Position Description:
The Director of Strategic Growth is responsible for driving the company's long-term expansion across federal agencies and multiple industries by integrating business development, proposal leadership, program management, branding, and strategic communications. This position provides expert oversight of capture and proposal development activities to ensure timely, compliant, and competitive submissions. The Director ensures consistency in messaging across all proposals, marketing materials, and corporate communications, strengthening the company's credibility and brand with both government and industry partners.
Working closely with senior leadership, the Director shapes enterprise strategy and company vision, aligning business pursuits with program delivery and organizational objectives. The role manages cross-functional teams, builds and sustains strategic partnerships, and advances initiatives that enhance growth, improve operational performance, and position the company as a trusted partner to federal customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead capture and proposal development efforts, ensuring compliance, quality, and alignment with customer needs and federal acquisition requirements.
- Drive business development initiatives, identifying and pursuing opportunities across agencies and industry sectors.
- Oversee strategic communications, branding, and messaging to ensure consistency across proposals, corporate materials, and external engagement.
- Partner with leadership to refine and execute company vision, growth strategies, and program management priorities.
- Build and manage relationships with federal agency stakeholders, prime contractors, and subcontractors to strengthen positioning.
- Provide cross-functional oversight to align program delivery, strategic pursuits, and organizational objectives.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in federal business development, capture, and proposal management.
- Strong understanding of federal acquisition processes, compliance requirements, and proposal lifecycle management.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage programs, and align initiatives with organizational strategy.
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with experience developing consistent messaging across proposals, branding, and outreach.
- Experience working with federal agencies and/or industry partners to build sustainable growth strategies.
