Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team. This role involves cutting and fabricating aluminum stock lengths to precise measurements, assembling storefront & curtainwall frames, and preparing components for commercial glazing installations. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with fabrication tools, can read and interpret technical drawings, and takes pride in delivering high-quality, accurate work. This position requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety and production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and prepare aluminum stock lengths according to specifications.
• Fabricate and assemble commercial storefront systems including frames, doors, and hardware.
• Ensure all components meet quality standards before moving to installation.
• Safely operate saws, drills, and other fabrication tools and machinery.
• Read and follow blueprints and work orders to ensure accurate builds.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the fabrication shop.
• Work collaboratively with installers and project managers to meet deadlines.
• Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines during fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in aluminum fabrication or commercial glazing preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.
• Skilled in measuring, cutting, and assembling aluminum stock accurately.
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and cuts.
• Knowledge of workplace safety procedures and PPE usage.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work well independently or in a team setting.
