The Centralized Analytics team under the Finance organization is responsible for delivering actionable financial insights and analyses that support strategic decision-making within the Go-To-Market (GTM) function. We are seeking a Senior Analyst to serve as a critical analytical resource for leaders across our business by diving into data to produce valuable insights that provide context to drive financial and business decisions. This role offers significant exposure to senior sales, marketing and finance leadership, with the opportunity to directly impact the company's business decisions in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate will have a track record of delivering results, analytical acumen, complete ownership of work and excellent business judgment. They should have a demonstrated ability to break down complex problems, deliver recommendations and have a critical eye for detail. About this roll* (Responsibilities)- Be a thought partner to business stakeholders and finance leaders by conducting analyses into drivers of business performance using SQL (Structured Query Language)
- Influence decisions by understanding the big picture combined with providing underlying deep analysis
- Use SQL and BI tools to automate reporting and generate insights that will allow business leaders to quickly and accurately see how our business is performing
- Communicate clearly, knowledgeably and transparently with cross functional stakeholders (including but not limited to Finance, Product, Sales, Marketing, and DIA) to build trusted relationships and enhance business outcomes
- Proactively and reactively develop and address business questions through independent investigation / data forensics
- 5+ years experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Strategic Finance roles and/or Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in an advanced quantitative field such as mathematics, economics/finance, or physical science
- Proficient in SQL
- Deep understanding of our SQL table infrastructure, as well as strong business acumen to understand operating metrics
- Data-driven mindset with advanced analytical and modeling skills, eager to dive into data to support evidence-based decision-making and strategic discussions
- Ability to create effective data visualizations, selecting the optimal style to communicate key insights
- Background building interactive dashboards in a tool such as Hex, Looker, Tableau, Sigma, etc
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills amongst a range of audiences
- Positive attitude with strong attention to details
- Adaptable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, demonstrating the ability to thrive amid change and evolution
- Experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, etc)
