Key Responsibilities:

Customer Support & Service:

• Assist customers in person and over the phone with U-Haul products and services
• Provide guidance and answer questions regarding rentals and equipment usage
• Deliver a positive and professional customer experience at all times
• Prepare rental invoices and process equipment returns

Equipment Handling & Maintenance:

• Inspect and clean trucks, trailers, and other equipment
• Check fluid levels and ensure equipment is safe and operational
• Move, hook up, and manage rental vehicles and trailers
• Install hitches and trailer wiring when required
• Assist with propane filling (certification provided if needed)
• Operate forklifts after completing certification training

Operational & Technical Tasks:

• Use U-Scan smartphone technology to manage rentals and inventory
• Dispatch and track equipment efficiently
• Participate in ongoing training through U-Haul University
• Support general store and lot operations as assigned

Workplace Expectations:

• Maintain safety standards while working around equipment and machinery
• Use protective gear when required (gloves, goggles, masks, etc.)
• Perform physical tasks including lifting and moving items up to 50 lbs
• Work both indoors and outdoors in varying conditions

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent
