Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance of client gardens, including care for perennial, annual, and vegetable gardens
• Assist with the installation, removal, and upkeep of seasonal container gardens, fall plantings, and holiday décor
• Conduct light pruning of ornamental shrubs and small trees to maintain plant health and landscape aesthetics
• Collaborate with the Fine Garden/Horticulture Production Manager and team members to ensure project success
• Maintain professionalism and represent Jaxtimer Landscaping positively on and off the jobsite
• Prepare, load, and unload trucks for daily tasks, and keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean and organized
• Participate in safety training and staff meetings to promote a safe and efficient work environment
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, pushing, and pulling gardening and landscaping materials and equipment
• Drive a truck with a trailer if eligible

Qualifications

• Experience in fine gardening or horticulture, including planting, pruning, and weeding (preferred)
• Basic plant identification skills (preferred)
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow direction
• Physical ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license (preferred)
• Authorization to work in the United States (required)

Compensation

$20.00 – $25.00 per hour , with regular opportunities for overtime.
