Boston, MA

The National Trust for Scotland Foundation USA (NTSUSA) seeks a highly organized, detail-oriented individual with an interest in non-profit fundraising to join our collaborative team.

The Development and Operations Coordinator is a key member of our small, Boston-based office and is responsible for day-to-day administrative and fundraising operations, including membership and gift processing and CRM database management. The role will have regular contact with Board leadership, members, and the public and will work closely with colleagues toward a shared goal of raising funds to support Scotland’s largest conservation charity.

This is a part-time, in-office role (approximately 20 - 24 hours per week).

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Process and acknowledge memberships and donations
  • Maintain donor database; prepare reports and lists for fundraising mailings and events
  • Attend and take minutes at Executive Committee and Board meetings
  • Draft bills for payment; maintain staff credit card logs
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and execute annual gala and auction
  • Maintain inventory of printed collateral and office supplies
  • Serve as welcoming and professional first point of contact for inquiries via telephone or email

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a non-profit setting. We are looking for someone who can multi-task and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment; well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle sensitive information with good judgement and professionalism; and a strong communicator who can work both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with a donor management database system (eg, DonorPerfect) is strongly preferred.

To apply, please email cover letter and resume to Kirstin Bridier, Executive Director, at [email protected]. Applications received before May 29 will receive priority.
