Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components and assemblies to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments and tools to assess product quality.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of quality metrics.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and efficiency.
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
- Provide training and guidance to junior inspectors and production staff on quality standards.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality control or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a mechanical inspector or in a quality assurance role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection techniques and quality standards.
- Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
