What You'll Do

In this role you will contribute to building operational telemetry and observability services for Vantage Cloud and on-prem. Collecting, correlating, analyzing and acting on real-time telemetry data is at the heart of Observability, allowing us to effectively support, monitor and manage the Vantage systems for our enterprise customers at scale. Understanding how our systems are used is critical to fuel Teradata’s product led growth.

Who You'll Work With

You will work with some of the most knowledgeable and passionate Architects and Engineers in the industry who leave, breathe and sleep observability and are intimately familiar with the instrumentation data we collect, but also how we can leverage it to make our support staff, engineers and customers lives easier. You will report to the Telemetry and Observability Engineering Manager and be embedded in the scrum team and will interact frequently with globally distributed Architects, Product Managers and UX experts to collaboratively deliver new telemetry and observability capabilities.

Starting pay for the successful applicant will depend on geographic location, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and candidate experience. Sales roles will be eligible for commission payments tied to quota achievement. All other permanent roles will be eligible for one of our annual incentive plans, which are based on company financial attainment and individual performance.
