Production Associate
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team. This role involves setting up and operating manual and pneumatic hand tools to prepare, finish, and grind surfaces of precision sheet metal aircraft engine components and parts.
Responsibilities- Restore components by operating electric and air-powered hand tools.
- Measure, examine, and test completed parts to detect defects and ensure conformance to specifications using precision instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Use OEM prints and design sketches to ensure proper repair outcomes.
- Follow instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform job functions.
- Fabricate to modify fixtures and maintain industrial machines, applying knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, metalworking, layout, grit blasting, and cleaning procedures.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in a related field.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
- Knowledge of general production, cleaning, and metalworking.
- Experience in aerospace, FAA repair stations, and auto body work.
- Highly motivated individual.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to pass FAA/DOT pre-employment drug test and background screen, with random drug and alcohol testing.

Work EnvironmentThe role requires sitting or standing for extended periods, frequent walking, bending, and reaching to shoulder level. Occasionally, squatting, lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling weights up to 50 pounds is necessary. The position requires repetitive hand movements, eye-hand coordination, and manual dexterity. The work hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and require corrected vision and hearing to normal range.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Uxbridge, MA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
