Contracts Administrator

Position Overview
The Contracts Administrator is responsible for owning the full lifecycle of customer, vendor, and partner contracts across the organization. This role serves as the central point of accountability for contract creation, review, negotiation, execution, and ongoing administration. Working closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Leadership, the Contracts Administrator ensures contracts are accurate, consistent, and aligned with company standards—while keeping deals moving efficiently.
This role is ideal for a legally trained or contract-savvy professional who thrives in an operating environment, exercises strong judgment, and takes full ownership of contract matters without overcomplicating the process.
Key Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end contract process for all customer, vendor, and third-party agreements, from initial request through execution and close-out
  • Draft, administer, and negotiate contracts using approved templates; efficiently manage redlines, revisions, and client-requested changes
  • Review client contract paper and RFP terms and conditions; identify risks, exceptions, and required deviations from standard terms
  • Serve as the primary reviewer of redlines on company contracts across software and services offerings
  • Maintain, update, and improve contract templates, standard language, and contracting guidelines across products, services, and markets
  • Administer contract controls, approvals, signature workflows, and repository accuracy
  • Manage contract renewals, amendments, pricing updates, terminations, and churn-related documentation in coordination with Finance and RevOps
  • Review and negotiate vendor and third-party pass-through agreements, including software, data providers, leases, and marketing or event contracts
  • Partner cross-functionally to resolve contract-related questions and unblock deals in a timely, business-minded manner
  • Escalate non-standard or high-risk terms to leadership or external counsel as appropriate
Qualifications
  • Experience in contract administration, paralegal work, legal operations, or a related role
  • Strong working knowledge of contract structure, commercial terms, and risk assessment
  • Comfortable independently reviewing and negotiating agreements within established guidelines
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple contracts and priorities simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented, responsive, and accountable with strong follow-through
  • Clear communicator who can work effectively with Sales, Finance, Operations, Leadership , and Outside Counsel
Experience That’s a Plus
  • Experience supporting SaaS, software, or subscription-based businesses
  • Familiarity with contracts involving government, municipal, or public-sector clients
  • Exposure to RFP-driven sales cycles and public-sector contracting environments
  • Experience working in a growing or evolving organization where processes are still being built and refined
What Success Looks Like in This Role
  • Contracts move through the organization efficiently with minimal friction
  • Templates and standard language remain current, consistent, and scalable
  • Stakeholders know exactly where to go for contract support and guidance
  • Risks are identified early and handled pragmatically
  • The contract function operates smoothly, without requiring constant legal escalation
What We Offer:
  • A competitive 100k to 150k salary, based on experience
  • A collaborative work environment in a values driven team
  • Benefits, including health, dental, vision insurance
  • HSA and FSA options
  • Paid vacation and sick time
  • 401(k) plan with matching contributions
  • Employer paid short term and long-term disability insurance and group term life insurance
  • Access to our EAP (Employee Assistance Program)
