Responsibilities

• Process customer orders daily to meet service expectations.
• Work in one or more warehouse functions such as receiving, picking, packing, shipping, or put-away.
• Accurately pick items and prepare them for shipment.
• Pack items using appropriate materials and documentation.
• Label and package shipments according to standard operating procedures, including hazardous materials documentation.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as swing reach trucks, stand-up forklifts, and order pickers. Training provided if needed.
• Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and complete tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all safety and compliance guidelines.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of general warehouse experience.
• Experience with powered industrial trucks such as order pickers, forklifts, swing reach trucks.
• Experience handling hazardous materials (chemicals).
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems, computers, and scanning equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach for extended periods.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 20 feet.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new systems and equipment.
• Must be able to read and write in English.

Work Environment

The position involves working on the 1st shift pick/pack team from Monday through Friday. The role requires handling, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Training is provided for operating warehouse equipment, and safety protocols are strictly adhered to.

This is a Contract position based out of Agawam, MA.

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.25/hr.
