ICU Registered Nurse - RNVC
Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse
Location: Falmouth, MA
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
- Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36 Hours per Week
- Every Other Weekend
- Rotating Holidays
Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a night shift contract assignment. The RN may float to Med/Surg Tele units based on operational needs and census.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Administer and monitor medications and patient responses
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and care plans
- Function as charge nurse and resource person when needed
- Provide patient/family education and interdisciplinary care coordination
- Adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies
- Participate in quality improvement and professional development activities
- Maintain proficiency in computerized nursing informatics systems
Requirements:
- Active Massachusetts RN License required
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Prior critical care/ICU experience required
- Completion of CCHC Pharmacology and Basic Arrhythmia exams required
- Strong ICU skills including ventilator care and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
- BSN, CCRN, TCAR, and De-escalation certification preferred
