JOB SUMMARY

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting has partnered with a growing manufacturing/ distribution organization near Boston MA seeking to hire an Accountant to join their corporate finance team. This position offers exposure to a wide range of accounting responsibilities including month-end close, AR/AP, and intercompany activity.

Responsibilities for the Staff Accountant position:

• Record journal entries and assist with day-to-day accounting activity across multiple business units

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including intercompany transactions

• Tracking and reconcile inventory across all of the organization's operations

• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities, including account reconciliations and reporting

• Assist with financial audits by preparing required documentation and schedules

• Work within ERP systems to maintain accurate financial data and reporting

• Participate in special projects and cross-functional finance initiatives as assigned

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2+ years of relevant accounting experience

• Strong Intermediate Excel skills

• Familiarity with QuickBooks or other ERP accounting systems

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Self-starter with a process-focused mindset and eagerness to take on additional responsibilities

Salary : $65,000-$80,000 + Bonus
