A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Pharmacist in a rehab hospital setting located in Boston, MA. This contract role offers an engaging work environment with a focus on patient-centered care and professional growth. The position requires a commitment of 13 weeks or more, starting as soon as possible.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- Day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and dispense medications accurately in a rehabilitation hospital environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Utilize pharmacy systems such as Epic and Pyxis for accurate medication management
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory standards and hospital policies
Desired Qualifications:
- Massachusetts licensed Pharmacist preferred; submissions from retail pharmacists and new graduates are welcome
- Knowledge and experience in pharmacy operations within hospital or rehab settings
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records and Pyxis automated dispensing systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
