Summary:
Our award-winning client is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. We are looking for a highly visible and engaged HR Generalist to support our manufacturing operations. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about creating a positive and safe work environment. You will be a key resource for employees and supervisors, building strong relationships on the production floor while managing a wide range of HR functions.
Responsibilities:
Employee & Leadership Support: Be a visible and approachable presence on the production floor, providing guidance and support to employees and supervisors on various HR topics.
Recruitment & Onboarding: Lead the full recruitment cycle for hourly and salaried roles, from job posting to offer. You will also deliver an engaging onboarding experience that sets new hires up for success.
Performance & Engagement: Coach leaders on performance management, communication, and employee engagement. Drive a positive culture through recognition programs and other initiatives.
Compliance & Administration: Ensure strict compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA). You will also support payroll, timekeeping, and attendance tracking for accurate processing.
Safety Culture: Partner with our Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) and plant leadership teams to champion and promote a safety-first culture.
Required Qualifications:
At least 3 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
A bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of HR laws and compliance standards.
Experience with HRIS systems (Workday is a plus).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
An approachable personality with the ability to influence and coach leaders.
Comfortable working across multiple shifts and spending time on the production floor.
