FOH Manager - High Volume Restaurant Group

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded restaurant in Boston known for its exceptional hospitality, strong team culture, and vibrant dining atmosphere, is seeking a Front of House Manager to join their team in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all front-of-house operations to ensure a seamless and exceptional guest experience.
• Hire, train, develop, and schedule all front-of-house team members, including servers, hosts, and bussers.
• Lead, motivate, and mentor staff while fostering a positive and team-oriented culture.
• Ensure all guests receive outstanding customer service and hospitality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming dining environment.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and service recovery situations professionally and efficiently.
• Work closely with kitchen leadership to ensure food quality, service standards, and communication remain consistent.
• Manage daily budgets, monitor expenses, and support restaurant profitability goals.
• Coordinate reservations, guest flow, and seating arrangements to maximize efficiency and guest satisfaction.
• Monitor inventory levels for front-of-house supplies and ensure any losses are properly accounted for.
• Assist with operational improvements and uphold company standards across all service areas.
• Serve as a visible leader on the floor, especially during peak service periods.

Requirements:

• 2–4+ years of restaurant management experience in a high-volume environment.
• Strong business management and operational experience.
• Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and developing teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Experience with scheduling, labor management, and restaurant financials preferred.
• Must be comfortable working 3–4 closing shifts per week.
• Team-first mentality with a collaborative, ego-free approach to leadership.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $70,000 – $85,000
• Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance
• PTO available
