We are seeking an individual to fill a Field Service Technician position:
- Plan and coordinate activities concerned with the testing and installation of vacuum furnaces, training customers, investigating and resolving customer technical problems with equipment, and eliminating further operational service difficulties.
- Responsible for the in-house testing of furnaces prior to shipment as well as being responsible for the test data sheets, service records and performance reports for furnaces tested.
- This position will require the individual to have the ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50-70 percent of the time.
- Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings, have experience working with PLC and HMI software
- Ability to work mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentage ratios
- Interact comfortably with customers and all levels of company management
- Solid working knowledge of Microsoft software products
- 3-5 years prior experience in the vacuum furnace or related industry preferred
- A two year technical degree is preferred.
