About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified PACU/Pre-Post Op RN in Massachusetts!

We are hiring experienced PACU / Pre-Op Registered Nurses for both local and travel contract opportunities. This is a fast-paced perioperative setting ideal for nurses with strong post-anesthesia recovery and pre-operative experience.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide Pre-Op and PACU nursing care for surgical patients
• Recover patients post-anesthesia and monitor patient stability
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and occasional pressor support
• Collaborate with anesthesia providers, surgeons, and perioperative teams
• Float between Pre-Op and PACU as needed

Schedule Details:
• Pre-Op Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• PACU Shift: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• Rotating call schedule required
• Weekend on-call approximately every 4–5 weeks

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements to Apply

• Active Massachusetts RN License (active or conditional)
• Minimum 2 years recent Pre-Op/PACU RN experience
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at submission
• Must be comfortable floating between Pre-Op and PACU
• EPIC experience preferred
• Previous post-anesthesia recovery experience required
• Must be comfortable with occasional pressor support
• Travel experience preferred; strong first-time travelers may be considered

• Travel Pay Rate: $73-$83/hr
• Guaranteed 40 hours weekly
• Weekly OT available after 40 hours
• 13-week contract with possible extensions
