As a Material Management Associate reporting to the Director, Supply Chain Operations; this position will be responsible for all duties related to the daily operations of onsite warehousing including receiving, shipping, order picking, inventory management and housekeeping. This position will train at the Watertown, MA site and then transition to work at the Northbridge, MA facility in Q3 2024. Responsibilities:

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Individual responsibilities

  • Unload/receive goods from carriers & check condition of goods (GMP & non-GMP).
  • Receive materials in ERP system and validate accuracy of packing slips to the purchase order.
  • Conduct Inventory Management activities, including but not limited to: cycle counts, material picking for work orders, material issues/receipt transactions
  • Deliver merchandise to area or requestor while following proper quality and regulatory guidelines and procedures.
  • Support R&D, clinical and commercial shipments to external vendors, including but not limited to: label creation and shipment coordination, completing ERP system transactions, creating shipment packing slips, maintaining inventory or shipping supplies
  • Maintain physical condition of shipping/receiving area by ensuring that high standards of housekeeping are achieved throughout shipping, receiving and inventory areas.
  • Maintain stockroom inventory supply through analysis of consumption, reorder points, and order quantities.
  • Knowledge of the processes and safety compliance documents for handling stockroom activities (SDS, storage equipment maintenance, Kanban system, etc).
  • Maintain and complete GMP documentation for GMP inventory.
  • Perform cleaning of warehouse and maintain GMP cleaning logs.
  • Support facilities and light maintenance activities.
  • Recognize and analyze root causes of warehouse or material related issues and develop corrective actions when needed.
Qualifications:

Primary skills and knowledge required include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Compliance with governmental guidelines.
  • Good team worker with excellent communication skills.
  • Works with all departments at EyePoint Pharmaceuticals
  • Ability to manage time, resolve challenges, and make decisions independently and effectively.
  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment including but not limited to a pallet jack.
  • Knowledge and ability to handle chemical inventory.
  • Prior experience in a regulated environment required.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Level of Education Required:

This position requires a High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • cGMP Training
  • Experience within a cGMP warehouse environment.
  • Manufacturing & Laboratory Safety Training

Number of Years of Experience in the Function and in the Industry:

  • Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical Industry
