Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Experience working with children or adolescents in educational or related settings
• Familiarity with instructional strategies and classroom management techniques
• Ability to follow direction and work efficiently in a team-based environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, compassion, and adaptability
• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or relevant certifications preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Support classroom instruction and reinforce lesson plans as directed by teachers
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with students to help them achieve their learning goals
• Assist with classroom organization and preparation of learning materials
• Foster student independence while providing encouragement and guidance
• Support students with diverse needs, including those with IEPs or 504 plans
• Monitor and document student progress and behavior as needed
• Contribute to a respectful, supportive, and engaging classroom culture
