Position Overview
We are seeking a full-time Piano Instructor to join our faculty. This role includes 20–25 teaching hours per week, along with administrative responsibilities supporting studio operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and interested in long-term growth within a music school setting.
Responsibilities
- Teach private and group piano lessons (20–25 hours/week)
- Design and implement engaging, individualized lesson plans
- Teach technique, theory, and sight-reading
- Track student progress and communicate with families
- Assist with scheduling, enrollment, and studio operations
- Prepare students for recitals, exams, and performances
- Participate in concerts, events, and faculty collaboration
Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the U.S.
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in Music or related field (1–2+ years teaching experience)
- Strong piano and music theory background
- Experience teaching a range of ages and levels
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary starting at $42,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications
