Machine Operator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Machine Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining industrial molding machinery to produce high-quality components. You will play a critical part in our manufacturing process, ensuring that all products meet strict architectural and safety standards while maintaining a clean and efficient workspace.

Responsibilities Include
- Set up and calibrate molding machines according to specific job orders and technical blueprints.
- Monitor machine cycles and adjust temperature, pressure, and speed settings to ensure product consistency.
- Load raw materials into hoppers and monitor the flow of material throughout the production run.
- Inspect finished products for defects, such as warping or surface irregularities, ensuring they meet quality benchmarks.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and minor troubleshooting to minimize machine downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with OSHA and company safety standards.
- Document production yields, material usage, and any equipment malfunctions in daily logs.
Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Proficiency: Prior experience operating industrial molding machinery or similar manufacturing equipment is preferred.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong ability to use hand tools and precision measuring instruments (calipers, gauges) for machine setup and inspection.
- Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work orders accurately.
- Physical Stamina: Capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs comfortably throughout a shift.
- Detail Orientation: High level of focus required to identify minute defects and ensure exact specifications are met.
- Safety Mindset: A proven track record of following strict safety protocols and wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Compensation
Pay will be offered based on several factors including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications, with an expected hourly wage of $22-24/hr .
