Software Tester / QA - LEAD
Job Description
We are seeking a seasoned Software Tester to lead quality assurance efforts across multiple development teams and software projects. Develops test plans and test cases. Develops automated tests. Performs manual and automated tests for software functionality, installation, and usability. Defines and tracks quality assurance metrics such as defect densities and open defect counts. Manages bugs and error tracking. Documents and presents test results to management. Coordinates and prioritizes testing of application modifications and bug fixes. Works with multiple development teams and software projects. Experience with a test tracking software package is desired
Key Responsibilities:
Leads the QA team while remaining a hands-on manual tester
Owns test planning and execution, coordinates cross-team efforts, manages the defect lifecycle, an reports on the quality and release readiness
Requires excellent communication, strong prioritization, timely stakeholder updates and rapid platform learning
Must have previous applicable experience
Shift Time: 9am to 5pm EST USA
Compensation: $18USD hr. to $22 USD hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education
