Role Overview

Heritage Holding is looking to hire a full-time Sourcing Associate to join our team in Boston or New York. This is a sourcing role focused on building relationships with business owners and generating new investment opportunities.

You’ll spend the majority of your time identifying, reaching out to, and engaging founders across our target industries. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who is excited to take ownership, learn quickly, and work directly with operators—not just analyze deals from behind a desk. High performers will have the opportunity to grow into broader responsibilities across deal execution, investing, and portfolio company initiatives over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outreach (calls, emails, follow-ups) to business owners
• Build and manage a pipeline of potential acquisition targets
• Engage with founders and introduce Heritage as a potential partner
• Track sourcing activity and pipeline in CRM systems
• Support evaluation of opportunities, including basic financial analysis (training provided)
• Assist with investment materials and due diligence processes
• Contribute to firmwide and portfolio company initiatives

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Recent graduate with strong academic and extracurricular track record
• Demonstrated grit and persistence (e.g., athletics, leadership, side projects)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable engaging with new people and handling rejection
• High-energy, self-starter with an interest in entrepreneurship and investing
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, in-office environment
