Infusion Registered Nurse

Travel RN – Ambulatory Infusion / Oncology (Chemo Certified)
Shift: 8-Hour Days (07:00 – 15:30)
Schedule: 32 hours/week | Every other weekend
Start: ASAP

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Ambulatory Infusion/Oncology Registered Nurse with chemotherapy certification. This role supports outpatient infusion services and assists with PICC/Midline team coverage as needed.

Key Requirements

• Active Massachusetts RN License (required at submission)
• BLS certification required
• Chemotherapy certification required
• EPIC experience required
• Prior ambulatory infusion/chemo experience required
• Strong skills in:
• Venous access (Ports, PIVs, ultrasound-guided PIVs)
• Infusion therapies (biologics, chemotherapy, blood products)
• Therapeutic phlebotomy

Preferred:

• PICC line certification (BARD preferred)
• PICC and Midline placement experience

Responsibilities

• Administer chemotherapy, biologics, and blood products
• Perform venous access and infusion therapies
• Support PICC and Midline services as needed
• Float to oncology unit if required

Testing Requirements (Mandatory)

• ECG/Dysrhythmia Test and Medication Test
• Conducted via Zoom prior to assignment
• Must be completed within 48 hours of offer
• Passing score: 85%
• One attempt only – no retakes

Scheduling & Work Environment

• No on-call included in guaranteed hours
• No floating required outside oncology support
• Biweekly orientation
• Any color scrubs permitted
