We are seeking a relationship-driven Sales Representative to expand and support our growing trade and residential client base. This is not a showroom sales role; rather, it is a traditional sales position focused on cultivating long-term partnerships, guiding projects from specification to close, and consistently delivering exceptional results.
This role is ideal for a sales professional who thrives in consultative environments, appreciates design, and enjoys building lasting client relationships.

The Role
As a clé & OUTERclé Sales Representative, you will develop and nurture relationships with interior designers, architects, and high-end residential clients while managing projects from early specification through order completion. You will represent our brands with product expertise, authenticity, and a strong service mindset.

What You’ll Do

Grow & Manage Business
● Establish and build relationships with A&D firms and strategic VIP clients with the goal of maintaining a strong, long-term trade client portfolio.
● Meet and exceed monthly sales goals.
● Occasionally travel to client offices to present product offerings and samples.
Support Clients & Projects
● Guide projects from specification through final order completion.
● Provide thoughtful, design-focused product recommendations and expertise.
● Manage multiple active projects with clear communication and follow-through.
● Occasionally manage in-person or virtual appointments with trade clients and project teams.
● Prepare thoroughly for in person or virtual ad hoc meetings with clear understanding of project goals and material needs.

Deliver Exceptional Client Experience
● Partner with customer support teams to ensure timely sample, pricing, and order follow-ups.
● Maintain a high-touch, consultative client experience aligned with brand standards.

Collaborate Across Teams
● Utilize internal systems including CRM, ecommerce platforms, inventory management tools, and
communication platforms.
● Work closely with supply chain, product development, marketing, and support teams to improve
sales processes.
● Share customer insights to help strengthen future product and service offerings.

Who You Are
● Genuine curious nature with a desire to learn.
● A proven sales professional with 3+ years of experience exceeding sales goals.
● Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with daily workload managed in technology platforms
such as Hubspot, Slack, inventory management systems, and more.
● Highly organized with strong project and time management skills.
● Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
● Customer-centric and service-oriented.
● Self-motivated, adaptable, and collaborative.
● Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving, entrepreneurial environment.
● Design-aware with appreciation for materials and current interior trends.
● College degree preferred but not required.
