JOB TITLE: Shipping/Receiving Assistant - DEFENSE

LOCATION: Chelmsford MA

PAY RATE: $26.50/hour

We are a national aerospace and defense staffing agency seeking highly qualified candidates for a position with a top-tier client.

Job Details:

• Job Type: Contract (12 months with potential for extension)

• Clearance: Active interim clearance required to start (only submit candidates with an active Interim or Secret clearance).

• Schedule: 5x40 First Shift

• Hours: Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00 PM EST

Summary:

• Performs a mix of manual and clerical shipping and receiving duties working from a central warehouse environment. Uses computer systems to track log verify and report shipments.

• Follows established shipping procedures transportation routing schedules and regulatory requirements.

• Receives incoming materials and prepares outbound shipments.

• Packs/unpacks items such as finished products raw stock assemblies parts office supplies and equipment.

• Verifies quantity weight shipping documentation and bills of lading; records shipping details and routes materials to the appropriate destination.

Requirements:

• Active interim clearance required to start (only submit candidates with an active Interim or Secret clearance).

• 2 3 years of shipping and receiving experience.

• High School Diploma (no degree required).

• DOT Hazmat Ground Shipper Certification.

• 2 3 years of experience receiving and preparing materials for shipment including packing/unpacking verifying documentation and routing merchandise.

• Forklift certification.

• Safety shoes required.

• Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
