Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Burlington, MA 01803 (Greater Boston area)
• Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Healthcare Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab
• Start Date: September 1, 2025
• End Date: November 29, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Day Shift, 4x10 hour shifts (7:00am – 5:30pm)
• Hours: 40 hours per week, weekends and on-call as needed
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3,000 - $3,080

Cath Lab RN Job Requirements

• Active and unrestricted Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience (3-5 years preferred)
• Proficiency in diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, interventional procedures, Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, and hemodynamics
• IABP and Impella device experience required
• ECMO experience preferred
• Experience in all Cath Lab and/or Electrophysiology (EP) roles highly preferred (sedation, monitor, circulator, and scrub roles)
• EP Lab experience preferred, but not required
• Previous foundational ICU or Emergency Department (ED) experience preferred
• RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification preferred
• COVID-19 vaccination and booster required at time of submission
• Cannot have worked perm/travel/PRN for any Beth Israel facility within the past six months
• Facility is not accepting local candidates

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Monitor and assess patients before, during, and after procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized Cath Lab equipment, including Rotablator, IVUS, FFR, IABP, and Impella devices
• Participate in all Cath Lab roles as needed: sedation, monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing
• Respond to cardiac emergencies and participate in on-call rotations, including weekends
• Collaborate with physicians, cardiologists, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
