Golang System Software Engineer - Containers / Virtualisation - Remote | WFH

What You'll Do:

Design, implement, and document system-level Go code

Model data, design database schemas, and implement data storage in a dqlite (SQL) database

Maintain high code quality through static analysis, unit, and system testing

Collaborate with a distributed team in an open-source environment

Participate in brainstorming sessions to find innovative solutions

Work remotely with opportunities for global travel (2 to 4 weeks/year) for team and industry events

What We're Looking For:

Strong programming experience in Go and C

Solid understanding of networking and storage technologies

Experience with two or more of the following: cloud computing, virtualization, containers, distributed systems, open-source communities

A problem-solving mindset with curiosity, adaptability, and accountability

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

A bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in Computer Science, STEM, or a related field
