Job Description

Description:

If you are someone who enjoys meaningful, detail-driven work, and wants to be part of a team that truly values both clients and each other, this could be the right next step for you.

We are a well-established, highly respected law firm with a deep focus on trusts and estates. We help individuals and families navigate some of the most important financial and life decisions they will ever make.

What truly sets us apart is our culture. We are collaborative, supportive, and committed to doing exceptional work without losing sight of our people.

As a Trust Administrator, you’ll play a key role in managing sophisticated trust matters from start to finish. You’ll work closely with attorneys, fiduciaries, and clients, becoming a trusted resource in the administration process.

Your work will include:

  • Managing the administration of a wide variety of trusts, including irrevocable, revocable, testamentary, charitable, and family trusts
  • Overseeing day-to-day trust activity, including but not limited to distributions, accountings, and ensuring compliance with governing documents
  • Serving as a central point of contact for trustees, beneficiaries, attorneys, accountants, and financial institutions
  • Reviewing trust documents and translating them into clear, actionable administrative steps
  • Preparing and maintaining detailed fiduciary records, correspondence, and trust accountings
  • Assisting with fiduciary income tax return preparation and supporting documentation
  • Partnering with attorneys on estate and tax planning strategies tied to trust administration
  • Managing timelines and ensuring all deadlines and obligations are met with precision
Requirements:

We’re looking for someone who is not just technically strong, but also thoughtful, organized, and client-focused.

  • 3–5+ years of experience in trust administration (law firm, bank, or wealth management environment preferred)
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; paralegal certificate or relevant coursework is a plus
  • Understanding of Massachusetts trust law and fiduciary responsibilities
  • Working knowledge of fiduciary accounting and individual income taxation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with high-net-worth clients and professionals
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with trust accounting or legal software is a plus

We are open to training a strong candidate with the right mindset and foundational experience.
