• Can you commission HVAC controls end-to-end—start-up, testing, verification, and documentation?
• Are you comfortable diagnosing electrical, controls, and integration issues quickly and safely?
• Can you read wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints with confidence?
• Do you thrive collaborating with project managers, engineers, and field techs while also working independently?
• Are you excited to teach customers how to get the most from their BAS?

What You’ll Be Doing

• Install, program, calibrate, and troubleshoot thermostats, sensors, actuators, and BAS controllers.
• Execute start-up and commissioning procedures to validate proper operation and sequences.
• Resolve issues tied to controls hardware, wiring, and system integrations across commercial and residential projects.
• Keep thorough records of service calls, configurations, and updates.
• Follow safety practices and company policies at all times.
• Keep up with the latest in controls technology and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required); technical degree/trade school in HVAC, Electrical, or Controls (preferred).
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with HVAC controls installation, programming, or service; BAS exposure is a plus.
• Working knowledge of DDC/PLC logic and protocols such as BACnet and Modbus.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to interpret wiring diagrams and technical manuals.
• Proficient with hand tools, meters, and diagnostic instruments.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
